What Makes The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 Stand Out From The Crowd?
As you can imagine with such a seasoned stroller, there’s plenty to love about it. Here are some of our favourite features after testing it out:
The New And Improved Canopy
One of our favourite features of the Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 is the new canopy, which is both extra large and made of a unique material. Not only is it UPF 50+ to protect from the sunshine, but it’s also water resistant for rainy days. The extendable size is larger than other strollers on the market, offering more protection for your little one.
The Storage Options
As parents of young children, you can never have too much storage space! The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 not only has a massive 12 kg Extenda storage basket, which can be accessed from both the front and back of the pram, but it also comes with a zippered storage pocket on the back of the toddler seat. This means you no longer need to lean down every few minutes to get what you need, you can keep your essentials close at all times.
The Smooth Ride Dual Suspension
The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 comes with dual suspension to keep every single ride as smooth and enjoyable as possible. This works with the foam-filled all-terrain rubber tyres to keep your baby as steady as possible during every single ride, which only adds to the safety of the pram.
How Much Does The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 Cost?
The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 currently costs $949, making it best for parents with higher budgets. While it might be on the expensive side, we think the unique features and parent-approved adjustments make it worthwhile.
What Is The Warranty On The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5?
The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 comes with a lifetime warranty to celebrate the brand’s 15th birthday and 5th evolution of quality. This is an incredible benefit for the Signature V5!
Is The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 Safe?
The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 is very safe thanks to its no-rethread five-point harness to keep your little one in place. The harness pads add a layer of comfort to the pram, making your baby more likely to stay in their comfortable seat rather than trying to escape. The bumper bar also works to keep your little one in place and gives them somewhere comfortable to hold onto throughout every journey.
How Easy Is The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 To Manoeuvre And Push?
We were really impressed with the manoeuvrability of the Steelcraft Strider Signature V5, as the foam-filled tyres are perfect for all types of terrain without the risk of running into a flat. These also work with the dual suspension to keep every ride feeling like you’re walking over clouds. Why let your stroller dictate where you can explore with your little family? The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 works on flat paths as well as grassy parks and off-road adventures.
How Are The Brakes On The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5?
The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5’s brakes are great, with a bright red pedal on the side of one of the back wheels. Simply kick it down to engage the brake and stop the stroller. We were impressed with how quickly the brakes jumped into gear as soon as we touched the pedal! The only issue we had with the brake is that left-handed parents might not be able to reach it as easily as right-handed parents.
How Easy Is It To Fold And Assemble The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5?
The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 folds within a second thanks to the one-hand fold. We had the stroller folded and stored away quicker than many other strollers, even with the seat attached. Considering the size of this stroller, we were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to fold.
In terms of assembly, the Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 could not be easier. You’ll need to attach the wheels and the seat, but as long as you follow the instructions in the user manual, you should be able to get it up within ten minutes.
Is The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 Easy To Clean?
We found the Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 a joy to clean, as most if not all of the seat fabrics were machine washable. This meant that we could throw them all in the washing machine and forget about them! Simply wipe the rest of the chassis down while you’re waiting and you’re good to go.

Final Thoughts On The Steelcraft Strider Signature V5
Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with the Steelcraft Strider Signature V5 when we tested it out. The manoeuvrability and storage options were the standout features for us, and we could really tell that this stroller was the product of five past improved-upon versions. The only thing we wish could be improved is the position of the brake pedal, but we don’t think that’s a deal breaker.
