What Are The Benefits Of The 4Baby Origin Stroller?
- Many parents really liked that the toddler seat could be adjusted to create a bassinet
- The EVA tyres and four-wheel suspension create a super smooth ride for both parent and baby
What Are The Drawbacks Of The 4Baby Origin Stroller?
- The brake pedal is a little small, so you might find it takes a bit of getting used to
Are There Any Accessories Included Or Available With The 4Baby Origin?
The 4Baby Origin comes with a few accessories alongside the main pram unit, including the pram apron, removable bumper bar, and rain cover. We particularly love that it comes with a rain cover, because quite a few more expensive prams don’t come with one! You can also buy third-party accessories online if you’d prefer to jazz up your pram, such as a cup holder, snack tray, or sun shade.
What Makes The 4Baby Origin Stand Out From The Crowd?
There’s plenty to love about the 4Baby Origin, so let’s take a look at some of our favourite standout features now:
The Four-Wheel Suspension
The 4Baby Origin comes with an excellent four-wheel suspension system that makes pushing the pram a breeze. No matter how old your baby is or how many bags you have in the storage basket, the suspension system makes the stroller seem incredibly lightweight and easy to push. Plus, with the EVA foam wheels, manoeuvrability of a pram has never been easier!
The Adjustable Handle
The 4Baby Origin comes with an adjustable handle that you can manipulate to six height options. Most prams we see on the market only have one or two height adjustments for the handle, so we were really impressed with how many the Origin pram comes with! We found this to be a lifesaver when it came to parents with a great height difference, as both can be comfortable instead of one having to make a sacrifice.
The Two Seating Options
The 4Baby Origin comes with one seat option which can convert to both a bassinet and a toddler seat, making it suitable for newborns. The bassinet can be used until your little one is just 9 kg, while the toddler seat can be used until they reach 20 kg. We love that this means parents no longer have to worry about buying a spare bassinet, as these can be quite expensive considering they can only be used for a few months. Plus, you don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to store the large bassinet once you’re finished using it.
How Much Does The 4Baby Origin Cost?
The 4Baby Origin costs $429, which is considerably more expensive than the other prams in their catalogue. However, considering how many extra features this pram comes with and how it can be used for four full years, we think the price is pretty reasonable.
What Is The Warranty On The 4Baby Origin?
The 4Baby Origin comes with a one-year warranty, but there isn’t much information on what the warranty covers online. For the price of the pram, we were hoping for a longer warranty.
Is The 4Baby Origin Safe?
The 4Baby Origin is a very safe and reliable stroller, with a five-point adjustable harness and padded insert for ultimate comfort and protection. The sun canopy also features a mesh insert for the best ventilation, and there’s even a peek-a-boo window that you can use to check on your little one whenever you want without disturbing them. We love that the seat can change into a bassinet, creating a safe sleep space for newborns and smaller babies.
How Easy Is The 4Baby Origin To Manoeuvre And Push?
The 4Baby Origin is very easy to manoeuvre thanks to the EVA foam wheels working with the four-wheel suspension. The reasonably lightweight design makes it even easier to push over bumps and uneven surfaces, and we were really impressed with just how easy the stroller felt to move and steer. We could definitely tell the difference between this and a heavier, more expensive stroller!
How Are The Brakes On The 4Baby Origin?
The 4Baby Origin features a bright red brake pedal between the back wheels, making it impossible to miss when you need it. The pedal is smaller than other strollers we’ve tested, but we didn’t find this too distracting after a few practice runs. And thanks to the one-touch pedal, you only have to apply light pressure to kick the brakes into gear.
How Easy Is It To Fold And Assemble The 4Baby Origin?
We were really impressed with how quickly and easily the 4Baby Origin folded down into almost nothing, making it ideal to store away in tight spaces and small car boots. Once the chassis is folded, it locks itself so you don’t have to worry about it flying back open when you pick it up.
The Origin stroller is one of the most straightforward ones we’ve tested in terms of assembly, we had the whole thing up and running within just ten minutes.
Is The 4Baby Origin Easy To Clean?
The 4Baby Origin is super easy to clean with mild detergent and warm water. Simply wipe down the seat fabrics and chassis with the same solution, making sure that everything has time to dry before you fold the chassis or reuse it with your little one.

4Baby Origin VS Other 4Baby Prams
Final Thoughts On The 4Baby Origin
We really liked testing the 4Baby Origin and we think it’ll make a wonderful pram for many families who are conscious of their budget. We really liked the manoeuvrability of this stroller, along with the included accessories and adjustable seat. We wished that the brake pedal was a little larger, but with all the other great features of this pram, that really wasn’t a dealbreaker.
