From the age of six months to two years old, our kids will spend many of their meal times in a high chair. These baby products finally give you more freedom to prepare meals and give your baby a safe place to enjoy their new foods. That said, there’s so much more to choosing the best and most reliable high chair to suit your child than simply buying one.
We conduct our best high chair reviews through a combination of product testing, individual research, real buyer feedback and certified paediatrician approval.
We understand that there is no such thing as a “best high chair” for everyone, and what is best for one baby might not be suitable for another. With this in mind, we assessed high chairs by comparing different features and specifications, and have highlighted the buyer we believe the product is best suited to.
We considered the following criteria below:
Designed to see your kid well into the infant years, the Fresco Special Edition provides a stylish but functional high chair to suit most homes. With its three reclining positions and comfortable cradle design, your kids will love time in their high chair. As a bonus, the Fresco Special also has a stylish rose gold design with various seat pad colours.

The first thing we loved about the Fresco Special Edition high chair is how its futuristic design allows it to spin 360 degrees. This is brilliant for adjusting your baby to face you during feedings. We also loved its three recline positions, which will take your child from bottle feeding to eating solid food from a seated position with ease as your baby grows.
The fact that it’s made with solid and durable materials like aluminium and stainless steel is also a bonus because when testing for durability and stability, it stood through the tests amazingly to assure us that this is the kind of high-quality seat we’d want our babies sitting in. Its adjustable height made it so easy to feed our kids on any surface and even in a standing position. We love that it accommodates kids that weigh up to 36 kg, so instead of needing to buy a junior chair, we could fit our toddlers in without fuss or fear.
Below we have listed pros and cons based on real buyer feedback:
The Fresco Special is perfect for parents who want a baby chair that will last their kid through infancy to being a toddler and want excellent extra features, incredible durability, and stylish flare. The Fresco Special Edition is for those looking for a chair that is perfect for feeding your newborn to a high chair that fits at the family table, then this is the one for you.

The first thing we noticed about the Hilo Chair is how much value for money it is with its affordable price paired with its safe, sturdy and elegant design. We love how the design incorporates natural and eco-friendly materials because it doesn’t use any soft and absorbent fabrics; it’s incredibly easy to wipe down and give a quick clean.
While this high chair doesn’t have wheels to aid with moving it around or transporting it, it is much lighter than other competitors, weighing 3.7 kg. The footrest supplied sturdy support for babies to have optimum balance, but its inability to adjust or recline means it’s not suitable for newborns, unfortunately.
Below we have listed pros and cons based on real buyer feedback:
This chair is perfect for parents who want an environmentally conscious, basic but high-quality high chair at an affordable price. For us, this chair would only be necessary when our kids start showing signs of being able to sit up or comfortably hold themselves in a seated position. Likewise, the junior chair is a bonus for our kids getting a little older. While this chair is limited in its features, you can purchase add-on features to expand its usage.

We were very impressed with the versatility of the Soho Wooden Highchair. It is well-made and has a variety of adjustments to fit flush with most dining tables. It’s not foldable because it’s designed to replace a full-sized chair around the table rather than being put away between meal times. It’s an excellent chair for those who want to get into the habit of family dinners.
Below we have listed pros and cons based on real buyer feedback:
The Soho Wooden Highchair is an excellent option for parents on a budget. It’s versatile, well-constructed, and affordable. Some high chairs are too bulky to be used next to a dining table, so if you’re looking for something for shared mealtimes, then the Soho Wooden Highchair is an excellent choice.

With or without attachments, it can hold an adult confidently. However, you must purchase extra bundles with the corresponding features to use this chair from birth. However, the Bugaboo Giraffe Chair didn’t win this year’s Red Dot Award for nothing.

At first glance, we love that the Peg Perego Tatamia Follow Me Highchair is made with solid and durable materials. This implies that it will last. Its large feeding tray is also a great feature. We also love how portable it is. We also know that our kids often have accidents which lead to our high chairs needing a cleaning. This highchair takes us back to our roots. We first noticed that the design is simple and fixed, usually providing extra strength. Its height is adjustable, which implies that our children can use it as they grow. However, the fact that the tray is fixed to the frame somewhat limits its uses. With that said, it is very affordable.
