There are three sizes of breast shields included in the starter pack, including 24 mm and 27 mm, along with 21 mm silicone massage cushions to use with the 24 mm shields to make them slightly more snug. Not only that, but you can also buy extra breast shields from Youha’s website in sizes 21, 30, and 36 mm! Furthermore, you can buy breast shield converters in sizes 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, and 20 mm, and these can be used with the 24 mm breast shield that comes free with the starter kit. This impressive range of sizes offers even more variety and should hopefully fit more women’s bodies, which we’re big fans of!

The controls are super easy to use once you’ve learned what all the symbols mean, so you shouldn’t have to worry about being stuck in an uncomfortable setting for too long.

Provided you get the correct breast shield (you can measure this with the instructions on Youha’s website), you shouldn’t need to readjust the Youha The ONE pump very often at all. However, if you do need to, it could not be easier to quickly pop the flange off and realign it with your breast. This pump begins on a low setting so even if you have the breast shield on incorrectly, it shouldn’t pinch or hurt too much before you can readjust it.

We found the Youha The ONE pump super easy to attach and use! Simply line up the correct flange with your breast and turn the motor on with the large on/off button on the remote control. The pump is pre-set to use the massage mode for two minutes before using other settings, and we really like this feature as it helps with the letdown to prepare the body before going straight into expression mode. This can help the production of milk and even help your pumping journey last longer, so it’s definitely worth using!
We did find the buttons on the remote control a little confusing to begin with, so we would highly recommend getting acquainted with this and reading about it in the user manual before you’re actually hoping to use it. This will take a lot of pressure away from you when you’re needing to pump as you won’t have to worry about wasting time working out the controls.

In the grand scheme of breast pumps, we found the Youha The ONE pump easy enough to take apart and clean. It does take a while to get everything clean and sterilised, but with a closed design to prevent milk from getting too near to the motor, we didn’t find this pump too difficult or time-consuming to clean.
