This cot has around 10 cm less width and length than standard-sized cots, so you can enjoy less floor space taken up without worrying that your baby will be missing out on too much space. We found the smaller size is perfect for apartment living and for parents who might not have space for a complete nursery yet. In our experience, as well as many other parents, children actually prefer a smaller sleep space when they’re younger as it makes them feel more secure! This mini cot isn’t as constricting as a bassinet either, so there’s still plenty of space for them to stretch out and wriggle around.
Fits through standard door frames
Another thing we really like about the Love N Care Stan Mini cot is that it can fit through most standard door frames. This made it much easier for us to build it wherever we had the space to spread everything out before moving it to its final location afterwards – even if this was in another room! We’d have loved to see it feature castor wheels so we could’ve wheeled it through the apartment to keep our sleeping babies close, but thanks to the compact width we could still carry it around with the help of someone else if we wanted to.

We’d definitely recommend enlisting the help of someone to hold the base to make this process even easier, but we were still able to adjust it on our own without any issues.
Is The Love N Care Stan Mini Cot Easy To Manoeuvre?
The Love N Care Stan Mini cot can be manoeuvred easily, and we love that it’s compact enough to fit through the majority of standard door frames. However, we wish it came with castors to make moving it even easier. This cot still weighs a heavy 40 kg, so carrying it from room to room was quite difficult and inconvenient, even with two of us carrying it. So, we wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a portable mini cot.

Assembling the Love N Care Stan Mini cot could not be easier, with the user manual only featuring three steps to get this crib up and running! The instructions were also super easy to understand with plenty of diagrams, so we don’t think you’ll have an issue getting this cot up. The pieces are quite heavy though, so bear this in mind when setting out on your flatpack adventure.
