Unfortunately, this isn’t one of the more common mattress sizes, so you might have a harder time finding one to buy elsewhere than Boori’s website. Still, they offer plenty of amazing mattresses at this size so don’t panic about not being able to find one at all.
We also would’ve preferred to have seen the Toddler Guard Rail included in the price of this cot instead of having to buy it separately. Don’t forget to add this to your basket if you want to take full advantage of the toddler bed conversion!

In your user manual, the instructions are explained in step 7, but all you need to do is remove six pieces of hardware and swap the base height around to the lower position! There’s no need to remove any other pieces of the cot either to adjust it, so we had this done in just a few minutes. We’d recommend getting someone to hold the base for you while you adjust it though, as we found it to be quite heavy and difficult to hold on our own.

The Boori Perla cot isn’t designed to be moved about frequently from room to room, so no, we wouldn’t call it easy to manoeuvre. Weighing a grand total of 33 kg, this cot is designed to stay in one place in your nursery to remain a focal point! When moving the cot into position, it’s incredibly important that you lift it with the help of someone else instead of dragging it, as this can cause damage to the legs.

The Boori Perla is simple enough to assemble, with just six steps in the user manual to follow before having this cot up and running. The only thing we found slightly challenging was the two bars the legs screwed into, especially when the mattress base was in the higher position as we felt like they were quite flimsy and difficult to manage. However, with the help of another person we were able to fix this issue quite quickly, still assembling the entire cot within less than an hour.

We found the Boori Perla cot really easy to clean thanks to the small spindles that we could easily wrap our hands around to clean in one quick motion. Aside from the bars there isn’t too much more material to clean, so we found that we had the Boori Perla cot cleaned within a surprisingly short amount of time.

We really enjoyed testing out the Boori Perla cot for ourselves! Some of our favourite features included the possibility of matching furniture sets and the optimal airflow the design offered, although we did wish the price came with a few more accessories. We would’ve preferred for the toddler bed guard rail to be included within our purchase as the price is already quite high and this felt like a hidden cost if we wanted to make the most of the bed’s versatility.
