Are There Any Accessories Included With The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot?
Unfortunately, the Boori Natty Compact cot comes with very few accessories aside from the cot itself and the premium-quality castor wheels. You’ll need to buy other accessories separately, although the good news is that you should only need to buy a mattress and sheets to make this bed usable. Make sure you buy a 119 x 65 cm mattress to keep this bed safe. While this isn’t the most common mattress size on the market, Boori has some excellent options that you can buy alongside the Natty cot to make sure you receive everything together.
What Sets The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Apart From The Crowd?
When testing out the Boori Natty Compact cot for ourselves, we found that it had plenty of features to make it stand out from the rest. Here are a couple of our favourites:
Compact size
We couldn’t mention our favourite things about the Boori Natty Compact cot and not talk about how small and convenient it is! This cot is slightly shorter in both length and width than full-sized cots, meaning it won’t take up so much space in your home and it’ll give your baby a snug space to sleep without feeling cramped. The width is only 75 cm, making it smaller than most standard door frames in Australia – so with the help of the handy castor wheels, you should be able to wheel your baby from room to room with you. We love this feature because it’s recommended that we keep our babies in the same room with us, especially when they’re newborns, so we can abide by this without having to wake them up.
Incredible quality
No matter what Boori cot we test out, we’re always blown away by the quality of each one. Even the Boori Natty Compact cot, which is considerably cheaper than many other Boori cots, is of excellent quality! We can feel the difference immediately thanks to the combination of solid wood and engineered timber sourced from Australia and New Zealand. The plastic castor wheels are also amazing quality and feel like they’ll be able to last a lifetime, so we highly recommend trying this one out for yourself if you value high-quality pieces!
How Much Does The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Cost?
The Boori Natty Compact cot currently costs $279.95, making it one of Boori’s more budget-friendly cots to date! Bear in mind that the smaller mattress might mean your little one outgrows it quicker than a full-sized cot though, as some taller children will need more space than others. Still, for the low price and a lifespan of around three years, we think this is an excellent cot to begin with!
What Is The Warranty On The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot?
The Boori Natty Compact cot comes with a three-year warranty, which is amazing in itself, but you can also extend this to five years if you register your cot through Boori’s website. We think this is a really generous warranty considering the price of this cot, and we love that it gives you peace of mind for the entire time your baby will be using it as their safe sleep space.
Is The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Safe?
Yes, the Boori Natty Compact cot is perfectly safe and complies with not only the Australian/New Zealand safety standards (AS/NZS 2172-2013) but also the European safety standards (EN 716-1-2:2017) as well! Boori has gone the extra mile to make sure your cot is completely safe for you and your little one. The only thing you need to do is make sure you buy the correct size mattress, as using one that’s too small or too big can lead to making the cot less safe and putting your baby in a dangerous sleep space. Boori currently has three 119 x 65 cm mattresses on their website, and double-check the size before committing to your purchase!
Is The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Easy To Adjust?
We found the Boori Natty Compact cot to be super easy to adjust – it’s simply a matter of adjusting four screws! Make sure you have someone to help hold the slatted base while you undo and retighten the hardware as this’ll prevent you from accidentally damaging anything by doing it all yourself. Once the hardware has been retightened in its new position, you’re done!
Is The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Easy To Manoeuvre?
While the Boori Natty Compact cot isn’t necessarily designed for travelling with, it’s still easily manoeuvrable thanks to the high-quality castor wheels that let you wheel it from room to room. We found that this cot was still quite heavy though, so at 26.9 kg, it’s not as easily moved as some other compact cots out there. We personally found the wheels better for rocking our babies to sleep rather than moving them from room to room, so we might not recommend this cot if the latter is one of your main goals.
Is The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Easy To Assemble?
We found the Boori Natty Compact cot incredibly easy to put together – there are only five pieces to the entire thing! The wheels are also super easy to add, so we had no issues with putting the compact cot together at all. Make sure you follow the instructions in the user manual to make this process as easy as possible for you!
Is The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot Easy To Clean?
Thanks to the smaller size of this cot and the closed-end design, we found the Boori Natty Compact cot to be super easy to clean! Give it a quick once-over with a damp cloth whenever it needs sprucing up and you’re done, giving you more time to enjoy with your family rather than worrying about long-winded cleaning routines.
Final Thoughts On The Boori Natty Compact Baby Cot
Overall, we were really impressed with the Boori Natty Compact cot when we tested it out! Some of our favourite features were the compact size and incredible build quality, especially considering the lower price. However, despite its size and wheels, we found it to be quite heavy, so we might not recommend it if you want a cot that you can keep wheeling around all day.
